story seems interesting even tho I think it might be predictable, I usually hate real time action combat but since this story seems super story heavy, I might dig it. do with it was a jrpg though,

im going to play yakuza like a dragon (first yakuza game ever for me) and then im thinking about buying this game

It's very similar to past Yakuza games if you've played those.

I'm playing Yakuza lad now.and it's very cool. Funny and flashy and nonsensical. It hits the mix between real world and fantasy I've wanted to see in an RPG for a long time.

Yakuza games are basically modern beat 'em ups and Judgment is in the same vein.

LaD is the only JRPG of the bunch.

last beat em up I played was on the NES lmao. judgment does have lots of story right?

Judgment is Yakuza but less interesting

Yeah, I wouldn't call Judgment a JRPG. It's an action game with some RPG elements. If you like crime dramas, you'll probably like Judgment's story. It's basically about a private investigator that grew up being raised by a Yakuza (Japanese Mafia) family.

I won't spoil anything, but it's a great story in my opinion. However, it's worth mentioning that, while it is a standalone story, it does take place after Yakuza 6 and references a few characters from the main Yakuza games.
