Is the implication of this playful scenario that the hapless bloke trapped underneath the pile of chameleons is invisible, because aforementioned chameleons have activated their camouflage abilities in order to inadvertently, or otherwise, conceal you, thus giving the impression to any passersby who will hear your cries of help that they are in the presence of a specter that ought to be fled from, rather than helped, like in some ghost stories where a member of the living world has fallen victim to some ghost's trickery?

The guy wouldnt be invisible, just the chameleons. Yeah, like a ghost trick but ya know, lizards

I read your post again, and no, you totally still see "the guy" but it's not "the guy" it's a pile of chameleons on top of the guy, mimicking his colors to make it looks like nothing is wrong when he is, in fact, covered I chameleons.
