Been watching it. Pretty Little Liars is kind of a guilty pleasure of mine. It sort of took the spot in my heart that belonged the Veronica Mars. Though it's nowhere near as good. As the first two seasons at least. This show is much more interesting to me. The visual style is much more engaging and a lot of the dumbass teenage girl shit is cut out, probably because the season is much shorter. I'm enjoying it quite a bit. The only real problem I have is that movie reference girl is a lot. And it's really annoying cause it's basically title drops, she's not saying anything interesting with her references. Though for a dumbass teenage girl show, the Psycho sideplot is actually kind of neat. But I also hope the child predator thing is somehow flipped upside down. I can't see how it will be. The original one dragged on way too long and ended up sillier than I would have liked, and the Perfectionists was ultra meh. I wish it were more off the rails, I felt like when I was watching the original it was just non stop over the top drama, this seems to be more grounded which is kind of boring lol, also are the main cast of girls even liars?
