Unlike at a prison I'm betting you can do stuff to stave off boredom. We can't read (unless it's policy manuals) no music. They don't want us talking on the phone. Or even to our co workers for long periods of time as that's distracting them from watching inmates who on night shift are in bed half the shift. It's made me a better officer though. I fight sleep by searching the dorm for stuff. Got a guy who won't stop staring at me all day now cause I found his tattoo gun and took from under his locker while he was asleep. HovaRex posted...
