I'm making 5.9% more than I was making in 2018. Not quite keeping up with inflation iirc.

I got a 24.7% raise last year but it's the only raise I'd really gotten over the past 5 years. With no raises expected this year and probably next either. So it's kind of a wash.

Im actually putting in notice next week since I'm moving.

When they say that stagnating wages is good for the labor force, theyre basically saying its good for CEOs. Since the pandemic, CEO pay and corporate profit have astronomically increased. Theyre not raising prices because hey have to spend more. This entire wave of inflation is manufactured. Its not a response to increased production costs or transportation. If anything, maybe the prices should have gone up $0.10 or something, but not triple the price. Where is the government?????

don't forget that once corporations started investing in housing

there is now interest in making all houses go up quickly so the investments corps made do well
