I know it's not in the movies, so I'm talking in terms of the expanded universe lore, or anything else?

Yup, and he just helicoptered his dick for like 5 hours in front of Vader's face.

Don't believe we know, but it's also possible that they aren't able to reach out to Dark Siders. Hard to say. Anakin never tried to reach out to his grandson for example, unless he'd moved on by then.

I'm under the impression that seeing Force Ghosts also depends on the people that see them. That they need to be in the right state of mind to be receptive to it.

He wasn't Vader at the time, but when he's slaughtering the animals Tusken Raiders you can hear Qui-Gonn's voice telling him not to do it.

To my knowledge, no.

Even if he had, to what purpose? The number of people capable of actually reaching the Anakin side of Vader was small, and Jinn certainly wasn't it. If Kenobi and especially Ahsoka couldn't do it, Jinn had no chance.

Luke was literally it. And even then, he only succeeded by basically just being a near perfect reflection of Padme, by the end.

I'm not so sure about that. Qui-Gon and Anakin had a powerful bond. Qui-Gon was the only one who absolutely 100% believed in Anakin as a full-fledged Jedi and the Chosen One to restore balance. He openly challenged the council, including Mace Windu and Yoda, in front of young Anakin, that Anakin was the Chosen One and must be trained. I don't think that's something Anakin would forget, even after becoming Vader.

Anakin barely even knew Qui-Gon, a good first impression wouldn't mean shit to him once he became Vader lol. Obi-Wan was literally his brother/father figure and even he was dead to him as soon as he turned to the dark side.

Anakin had a love-hate relationship with Obi-Wan partly because Obi-Wan was a by-the-books member of the Jedi Council. Qui-Gon, quite simply, was not. If Qui-Gon had lived, I can easily see Anakin being comfortable enough to confide in him his feelings toward Padme, and Qui-Gon encouraging Anakin's relationship while helping him balance that love with his responsibilities as a Jedi. Basically, the entire arc with Anakin having to confide in the Chancellor would never have happened.

Which doesn't change the fact that Anakin still only knew Qui Gon for maybe a week, at the absolute most.

Whatever you think about Obi Wan, if Ahsoka couldn't do it, Qui Gon had no prayer. It doesn't matter what relationship they might have had in some different universe where Jinn lived.
