You have to have some experience. Its going to allow people to do on the job training, and thats where its scary,

This is a bit off though, as on the job training is the most important part of teacher training in credential programs. But* and that's a big but, that's as a student teacher, not just striking off on their own. In CA you can start teaching while you're working on your teaching credential (though it's not common), but yeah you have to at least have your BA and your credential in progress and you still have a mentor and required meetings with them.

Pretty funny that the article has an interview from someone that teaches at a literal clown college.

That's going to be nationwide anyway, who wants to be a teacher with really bad kids (and in some places you might be teaching wannabe killers, actual killers, or the next active shooter).

That doesnt sound THAT bad. Definitely not ideal but when you dont have enough teachers you gotta do something.

Yeah, like pay teachers more, support them instead of parents, and not work to dismantle public education. This ain't it. This isn't even "they're working on their credential," it's "they're working on their BA." That's a huge difference man.
