He's resigned as party leader, so a new person can be picked, and then he will stop being prime minister when that person is in place. Amazing how things snowballed. I have no idea who the new prime minister will be. I suppose there are lots of senior Conservatives who might get it, but who knows? Priti Patel, Rishi Sunak, Michael Gove, Jacob Rees-Mogg, and others. I don't think there's any clear front-runner. --- It has been 0 days since something interesting happened. The party can also decide they dont like the leader anymore and replace them with someone else as Prime Minister.
