I've spent money on FEH, but there are far better gacha games out there, >.< . That's a bit of a shame.

Pokemon Go and MasterSex both make a lot of money too dude. I'm not sure how much either profit Nintendo though, probably not a lot but not insignificant either

I played feh for the first year, it was good and players weren't reliant on spending money. I felt like power creep ruined it, though.

I don't mind gacha so long as the money is being used to fund new mainline games.

I would bet that waifu collectors games have made more than all other gaming ventures put together since the very beginning.

FEH is still one of the most generous gacha games ever.

Every new release gives pretty much a full multi on the new banner it comes with, constant premium currency, cheap deals that give a lot of currency if you go that route, pity on almost every banner(or every banner if you subscribe to the 9.99 FEH pass).

The only issue is there is a high bar to pass with Aether Raids, but if you ignore that, you have a ton of content to enjoy.

FEH has been around for a while now and, all things considered, it's a solid game.

It has a lot of problems (many of which are pretty standard for the genre), but I still enjoy it as a whole.

Its sequel will likely have nft's and nintendrones will gobble that shit up.

I do appreciate that Heroes can satiate the waifu crowd so that they don't have to ruin the main games with it. Fates was complete trash, but Three Houses was great

literally the only gacha to get me to spend, i almost did it for a whole year
totally worth it at the time, but was pretty tired of it after a while

I've been playing FEH since it released and never spent a dime on it. I have so many strong units and they give orbs away like candy. Ton of content, fun mobile gameplay.

Also it's made a billion over 5 years, which doesn't seem outrageous?

Every 300 pulls you can pick and choose from anything that's ever been released.

Devs buff old units periodically if they get crept too hard.

No special rewards for PvP modes it's just more gems.

2nd anniversary is coming soon they are about to give out 120 free pulls.

almost every major JRPG IP has mobile (gacha) game

Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest has multiple of them
SMT has DX2
Disgaea has one
etc.

There are plenty of characters still not in the game, but there are also like 5+ versions of the most popular characters.

Why can't it be both? I don't pay attention at all to FEH but I can all but guarantee that they haven't put in every FE character yet at the same time I do know they have extreme levels of fan-pandering with alt versions.

That has an updated chart of representation. Characters in darker blue with older portraits don't have any representation yet, characters with an asterisk have seasonal representation but don't have a base version in yet, and characters in light blue with the newer art are FEH versions.

SMT Dx2 had Joker and the gang as summonables.

Well FE is one of those series that fits snugly into the mobile infrastructure. Nintendo's tried many times to break into the mobile money maker several times already. In fact for how many times they tried, the fact that they can't come close to FEH's lifetime rev is kinda telling. FEH has also been on like minimal maintenance mode for a year or two actually. There was a time back in the days when FEH actually tried to be an interesting game

Well, I was thinking of a game that has all the Persona characters as summonable and shit, it would be a good cash cow. Hire the OG voice actors, have cool remixes, different characters with different Personas or costumes, with different music tracks, all summonable. Something like FEH I suppose. There are a LOT of Persona characters after all, I think a game with P5's gameplay and summonable characters could make for a great gacha.

I just can't find interest in the SMT game. The demons aren't as great as Persona characters lol.

This is great if they use the mobile games to fund the console games
