What did he do?

I only know him as someone who would occasionally reply to random posts of mine by calling me a moron. But I think thats how he interacts with most people.

He questioned the legitimacy of AOC's rape claim, insisting that all victims of any traumas always remember their exact ages when said traumas occurred because of his own personal experience (she had stated it happened when she was "22 or 23.") Several users who have also experienced trauma called him out for the claim.

Oh yeah, that's what I have him tagged. I actually had him tagged as chill too but all my tags were way before the tag limit happened so I guess he grew bitter with time. A shame.

This sort of thing is disappointing to hear because he used to talk a lot of bullshit to me years ago and a lot of it was when he was talking shit about you also. He and I had blocked each other after he sent an abusive PM to me but after that, a few years later (I don't recall what started this), we unblocked each other and it really seemed like he had turned over a new leaf. I won't go into details but his apologies felt genuine and I was certainly not innocent in terms of the beef we had previously myself, so we were cool and talked intermittently. I wouldn't have expected a bad reaction from him based on the 6/24 bullshit. He had clearly misjudged me in the past and was well aware of that and I felt like I too had misjudged him, so I really want to give him the benefit of the doubt here... but that take was very misguided and I did not get the chance to weigh in on it before he closed his account, so I can't say how he might have addressed my thoughts had he been around to read and respond to them. Your assessment certainly does make it seem bleak.

He did not come across as the typical "right wing poster that constantly trolls, regurgitates the most common and generic memes and shittalking points on alts while somehow thinking flailing for good faith and legitimacy will actually work." but I didn't see anything leading up to the post that led to the closure. I saw the post he deleted. I saw other users contradict his sentiments and I did as well. It reminded me of when DarkRoast closed Coffeebeanz.

I would HOPE that Conception's decision was similar, and not the "I'll close so I don't get banned" theory proposed here. I haven't seen much from him lately though, so I may very well have missed a lot of massive red flag shit. In either case, I am disappointed that he chose to say what he said and he was fundamentally wrong in doing so, and if he indeed closed his account to escape banning, that's a bad move... but in the event he realized he was wrong and closed it out of shame, it would be far from the first time someone has done that, and better that than the alternative.
