Her backstory would be that she's from a forest that has a bunch of wild magic, giving the animals there latent magical powers. An asshole druid was in the habit of going there, Awakening a giant spider, killing it off right before the month ended, and then going back to get a new one. Luckily for her, he got drunk and passed out the night the charm part of the spell wore off, so she ate him. I like the idea of her selling magical items in a shop with a really thick white carpet.
