yeah it's silly really, an old account like that, I do feel silly it was drawn attention to as well (I did submit the feedback, at first I couldn't find the link but in case anyone else does this then changes their mind, to find that link again go to the "close / delete" account section and it's there)

I'd still prefer an option to disable that or to remove them but I will ignore the silly randos!

I wouldn't think so, that's a loong time ago and the account has probably purged from the system, I think the way you can close accounts these days has changed, I'm not sure if there was ever the option to retract the closure before :O

Gotta do right by yourself.

There wasn't. I actually managed to log into it just out of curiosity and the only thing I could do was delete it entirely. I didn't bother. Still, I'm surprised I was actually able to remember the password for it lol (granted it was on the 3rd try). I think I will leave it as is and not delete. If I delete it, some fanclub troll will probably steal the username and impersonate me with it.

I think also before you had to submit a feedback ticket stating why you wanted to close the account, now you type CLOSE, then your username, then say you're not a robot with that capture thing, click the magic button and it's done!

Will people know the username if the account is that old? I didn't know they went back into the pool of usernames but makes sense if the account is deleted I guess :O

damn that sucks she was nice. genuinely positive poster. we need more people like that.

yeah I got that same thing but with DELETE and then username and capture thing, with a bunch of info above it. Apparently there was a 60 day period where you could contact the site for various reasons.

The username is known. I've spoken of the account before and there are still plenty of people who know me from that account and know that my current main and primary alt were originally alts of that account. Plus a frequently banned fanclub troll was recently digging for things about me and "uncovered" it through a wikia-type page about another board I used to be a regular on, so I would expect him or one of his buddies to fuck around lol

there's a 7 day "cool down" period where you can fill in a feedback form for it, I dunno if I want to do that though

She got a 7 day purg at the end of May for calling him the p word, came back and made posts about how much it bothers her that people talk to him like a normal person and saying he belongs in jail with TravelingJack, got warned for a message like that, came back and posted about having a bunch of new followers shes never seen before, and now her account is closed.

She did not say directly that was her reasoning, but it seems kind of obvious that she was extremely frustrated over brutai in the last three weeks and every time she said something she was getting modded.

Wow well that's awful.

Alright I just did! And I was wrong, it doesn't delete ME from the users lists I was on, just deletes them from mine so I've already found a few I knew were there and added them back!
