That was it. I did hate how much weather effects there were. Not being able to see in front of you due to sand / hail / mist was annoying. It reminded me a lot of the wilderness from Runescape. And Sw / Sh coming out around the time I quit WoW filled the hole of playing an open world game. The two DLC islands were fairly open as well, but you only stick around in the beginning area anyway. Umbreon 06/01/22 2:19:44 PM #44:	It's locked to post game to be fair, and I believe most of the mega stones were in the Battle Tree, so it was less focused on compared to the Z moves in gen 7. Also for some reason the Pokedex entries for many Mega evolutions were less about "the bonds of Pokemon and trainer"... and more about how painful certain transformations were and how violent certain Pokemon became. You'd think some of them were Shadow Pokemon. For example, and correct me if I'm wrong here, but Cinderace in Sword had a headbutt move which was literally him either hopping or kicking instead of headbutting. This extends past Cinderace and goes into nearly all the pokemon. A lot of animations are half assed, the textures aren't quality compared to what even Korean Developers for Genshin Impact provided, and a personal gripe of no voice acting for a 2022 Pokemon game (and that was just for the people, not pokemon themselves).
