The plot had too many dramatic character shifts without much weight behind them ~~I have to kill now! kills one guy I can't kill anymore! I have to team up with this villain to save the world! does one thing off page I'm going to stop you now villain!~~ etc etc. Top three remained Allen, Universa, Dinosaurus, although I liked Robot's design (reminded me of an edgier/uglier Robotman). Mark 100% should have ~~stayed behind to speedrun the series again~~, Eve was consistently awful for him and it's kinda weird how none of the other characters said anything about it... Universe had some great scenes especially towards the end and Black Knight's design was rad. Buzz and Chuck stole every panel they were in, too. https://i.imgur.com/q6iN95m.jpg https://i.imgur.com/UCP9elA.jpg I particularly liked Vision's speech. ~~https://i.imgur.com/jXPY9n0.jpg~~ Paradise I'd rate last; I think Krueger/Ross were spinning their wheels by then, not nearly as many neat ideas and the writing was kinda dense. The appearance of the "alternates" makes me wonder if there was some editorial meddling for Exiles synergy. I dunno. IMO Wally Wood and Jack Kamen drew the best chicks, Al Williamson did the best "monsters" and Joe Orlando the best all arounder.
