it's set in mid 1950s and that's imagined by Ben Sisko and Jake Sisko, his son (but not related in the imaginary timeline) says to Ben's imaginary character: Well, I've got news for you: today or a hundred years from now, it don't make a bit of difference. As far as they're concerned, we'll always be '{REDACTED}'.

Armin Shimerman (Quark) and Ren Auberjonois (Odo) act circles around the rest of the cast in that episode. One of the best ST episodes, IMO.

Yeah. Avery Brooks was damn good as always as well. Definitely one of the better Time Travel(Well technically not time travel) episodes of the series.

DSN actually does time travel rather well honestly. Several bangers.
