It was pretty fun! I played on the more difficult mode and it was still kinda easy lol, but they were also the early levels. I'm kinda disappointed with the ice ability. Seems so barebones compared to previous iterations.

I havent played the demo, but I feel Ice has been getting nerfed more and more over the games. Mirror feels like a better version of it

That's a shame. Ice felt so good to use in Super Star. So fluid and plenty of various attacks. Unless I'm missing something in this new one, it's just ice breath now.

I don't have a Switch, but I watched a video of the demo on YouTube, and this looks pretty fun.

I could see a lot of people enjoying this.

It was absolutely fun. I'll be getting the full release for sure!

I did try the upgraded ice power. Still felt like it was missing something.

Someone in another topic said ice made the demo boss easier. I tried it for several minutes, got my ass beat, and immediately discarded ice and beat him powerless. If ice was good, I'm clearly missing something.

That's how I beat the boss. I was able to do it, but I feel like bombs would've been easier. Not sure about sword.

Eh I like it, but considering how nerfed copy abilities are when it comes to their overall utility(Yes I know they can be upgraded but I doubt they'll offer nearly as many attacks in the end) and how easy it is even on the increased difficulty I just don't think I'll end up liking it as much as Star Allies and other traditional Kirby games with 2D gameplay.

I wouldn't say Ice makes it easier, just if you stay really close and be aggressive and keep hitting him with it, while stopping for a second to dodge incoming attacks you can freeze him and do a chunk of damage.
