I mean he has some great moments but the moments where he immerses you in the badlands areas of the world are not friendly to my attention span. Fiction writers are taught to be descriptive, descriptive, descriptive. I don't really like that. Mercedes Lackley is good because her books are about discussion, discussion, discussion.
