The Right: AMERICA FOR AMERICANS!!!
(Author's Note: "Americans" means White Males.)

The Left: America sucks.

It's like watching nature footage of wolves going after prey. The calf that kicks the wolf survives, the one that sits and cries gets eaten. The left's strategy? Sit and cry.

If you have an enemy, and you sit and feel sorry for yourself instead of fighting, the enemy is going to win. The left is watching America burn without so much as grabbing a pale of water to try and put out the fire. They're just letting it happen.

There really isn't a left in America

The lie that the Democrats are left wing, let alone radical left wing is as bizarre as the stolen election lies.

Yet people just accept it.

Democrats are right wing. Republicans don't even really have any solid stances anymore.

Sure you get the occasional Sanders or AOC but they are hated by other dems and wouldn't be considered far left in Europe or New Zealand or Canada

America doesn't have any sort of organized political left is the problem. The dems are a center right party and would rather let the country fall to the hard right than make any sort of left leaning reforms because that might cut into the profits of their corporate donors.

The "wing" refers to the wing on an eagle, not that act of being leftist. Like, try and find it being referred to as the "left wing" prior to its usage in the US.

It was being used in France before the United States existed.

No, "Left" was. "Left wing" was the US. The "left" term comes from the 1700's France, but the "wing" part was not used as far as I've found.

Lol, it's on you to prove that it is if you're going to claim that it refers to an eagle

I see sources claiming that left and right originated with the French Revolution, but none which say "wing" originated along with it.

I don't claim to have the answers. That's just what I'm seeing from the ol' Google Machine.

Very well.

I cannot find a reference at any point of "Left Wing" being used at all in any 1700's French literature. As it doesn't exist as far as I have found we can infer that the term came from some other source.

Preeetty much. Like, I'm not saying this as an argumentative thing. It's just something that I genuinely can't find anything about. I spent a while ages ago looking for its origins and, at most, I could only find it being used vastly later than when the left versus right aspect came out in France by a very substantial margin.

All of its initial usage, and to that same extent its current, was made under the basis of liberalism versus conservatism. This is somewhat relevant as the French Left versus Right was between socialism versus conservatism, fascism (many would technically be fascist but this was prior to the label existing), and monarchism. Thus where the names are similar in nature they almost never actually have referred to the same thing when you take them at some level of face value. Left versus Left Wing have never referred to the same thing while Right and Right Wing kind of have used the same moniker, conservative has always been in both, it did not include fascism until more recently (it was never used during WWII to refer to the Nazi's/Italian Fascists, for instance) and has never really referred to monarchists.

Thus while they are used somewhat interchangeably it becomes apparent that you have to either assume a change in language, making liberalism just as "left" as socialism due to the combination of the two monikers, or accept that there is something inherently different about them. And, frankly, I ascribe to the idea that the people saying that there is no "left" in America are correct.

Edit: Oh, and the comment about the "wings of an eagle" are more a way to say that it's about American politics rather than it's explicitly about an eagle. It's an imagery thing same as the "Don't tread on me" snake.

Yeah because my fellow liberals have no spine. They want to be all self righteous and act like the bigger person or whatever and that s*** isnt working.

Shoutouts to Gary Chambers though. We need more of him, and less of these wussy cucks most of the left is filled with.
