It only gets 15-20" of rain a year, low humidity, yet never has droughts, temperatures rarely reach freezing and you only get snow maybe every other year but you are only 30 minutes from good skiing at a ridiculously cheap price at Hurricane Ridge (like $25 for a day pass).
