Bullshit as in hard or easy? I also bought VC 4 during the Steam holiday sale for dirt cheap, so I have that ready to go after I finally beat VC 1 lol.

I had two people die in the battle at the end, but I was able to save them before finishing off the level. I definitely know how to get the A rank now. After I beat the game, I plan to try to get A rank on every level for that achievement.

Ah, ok. I'm not going to look up any strats ahead of time. Maybe when I go back to try to get A rank unless the cheese strat is obvious lol.

Surround him with shocktroopers and get allies to join in attacks.

Ah, all good then. I might come back to this topic after I finally beat the final boss lol. I've never been this far in the game before, and I'm not rushing through it. I'm motivated to finally beat it after max leveling every class though.

I was thinking of a different cheese strat, this one is more universal and works on most levels

Take your best scout or shocktrooper, pump them up with orders, use all your actions on that one unit to achieve your objective. the goal is to beat the mission in one key turn. for the final mission, that turn is turn 1 before the boss can do anything. Alisa is OP in general for this, but for the final boss specifically a shocktrooper is better because they do more damage and the boss is tough

also, i started playing VC4 and got partway through and put it on hold. ive been meaning to restart it for a while now.

Well yeah you're gonna abuse orders, that's a given in the game lol.

Though, for the last mission you'd want a sniper and lancer to take out the generator things in the distance.

Also, funny enough, I don't think I've ever used a single order during combat lol. I keep forgetting to use them. I might've used them once or twice around the beginning when I first got one to try it out, but I honestly haven't used them since if I did.

im not sure if youve got it yet, and this isnt a spoiler, but theres an order called "awaken potential" which boosts a characters unique ability, and its the best order in the game and with certain units trivialises missions

The orders are the most overpowered thing in the game lol. Probably more than levels.

I didn't even bother maxing out the classes. I think I only did one or two side missions.

Yeah, so far I haven't ran into a level I couldn't beat yet without them. I guess they'd probably come in handy on that one giant tank boss early in the game. But I still managed to beat that level with everyone alive.

I haven't level grinded in a long time, so I got obsessed with doing it in this game lol.

Tanks are a joke with Orders.

Get a Scout and give them an anti-tank order. Shoot the battery and it's dead in one go. If there's a mission with several tanks you can wipe them out in one turn using a single scout with that order. Makes the slow ass rocket guys feel like a joke in comparison considering that's supposed to be their specialty.
