We managed to beat the first 2 bosses I think. On simple mode. But she kept dying in like phase 1 or 2 and I had to do the rest solo.

And she hates and run and gun levels so we've skipped those so far.

How doable with the later game be?

Sounds lile you have the most knowledge on the subject due to experience.

it's not. Cuphead is a badly designed shoot 'em up/platformer. the only thing good about it is the art style. it is very unfriendly for new players even on the easiest mode.

Ouch op. Ouch.

I forgot how but there's a way to revive the other person through the pause menu if they continue to die. You can basically cheese the whole game this way if you guys choose to do so.

Turns to 1 player awful quick

It's alright. Same thing happened to me and the wife. She'd generally die by phase two and I'd have to do phase three myself (it's not too bad because the bosses health gets cut when you're down to one player).

Ad long as y'all are having fun, who cares if she doesn't make it til the end.

It's probably gonna be a terrible experience for her. The last two bosses don't even have a Simple mode iirc. Skipping the run and gun levels is fine, and if she doesn't mind you could do them yourself if you feel like you need the coins.

Is it a non-GAMER FRIEND, or a NON-GAMER friend ? Its unclear.
