I watched it when it aired on nick on my country, but alas due to tv broadcast i missed some episodes and it's been more than a decade, so i decided eh why not. Really cool so far, while video quality in book one doesn't age well, the animation hold up much higher to animation standard for television that era from both western and easter production. Also i didn't notice the firebender armors littered all over gyotsu's corpse in the southern air temple. He just ended like 2 dozens of them there. I kinda tolerate book 1 sokka this time around. In the first few episodes especially. He was one of my favorite character, but since the northern tribe arc and onwards, and found him irritating early. I didnt notice azula (more like wouldn't have known) in zuko's flashback.
