Discrimination against Black people is practically law in the U.S. (and some Latino countries, incidentally), but ok.
The fairer skinned latinos pass for white; the darker ones are treated like Black people.

Now if someone, say a coworker, made jokes about you eating tacos because they're Hispanic, then I'd agree that is wrong. But if it's a stand up comedian making jokes, then they're just jokes and not discrimination. Context matter.

Neh. It is kind of weird how many latin people are in America, yet we don't really have much exposure at all. Im personally fine with it being about other races, cause at the end, any fight won against ignorance will affect everyone. It doesn't really matter to me who's spotlighted. Plus Im a hip hop head and know more about black culture than latin culture anyway >_>. Not saying being a hip hop head means you're all in the know, just that I know that lil about my own culture. Any fight against discrimination is the fight in the right direction regardless of races at play, to me.

Also, I don't care about the jokes part. Once I think someone is good at heart, we can trade insensitive jokes as satire. Shits funny to me. I also understand why they don't land on the internet tho.

His example is a bit too wide, as you show. So I'm wanting more specifics to understand the context TC means.
