Yup, I got the same message.
Kinda sucks, but my phone hasn't been working at home, outside of text and phone calls.

I'm even sure where our local store is.

I probably will bump this...I guess I am going to have to take a bus to the closest store...but that's doable.
Oddly all of the stores are in one city.

i will report back. either going tomorrow or monday. I've gotten free phones from boost mobile before, and sometimes I've had to pay 80 or 100 for a phone. ive had this phone for 4 years so i think next one might actually be free. we'll see.

For this moment on I'm never changing phones until my 3g 4g 4g whatever is discontinued. Money saving move right there.

im pretty sure mine does too, now that I think about it. im still going because the battery charge port is a huge pain on this phone. a gentle breeze will cause the cord to come unplugged and stop charging. forget about plugging it in while you are holding the phone. god help you if you have to charge at someone else's place.

Ya, please do. Right now, for the website of the place I will be going to shows their phones costing $0.
I think I will go with the Samsung Galaxy A32 5G. I'll be pissed if it's not available.
It will be an upgrade, but it's annoying having to go through all this.

Also, of course, next weekend is my friend's birthday, and we are set to go out.
Though we can still pull that off. Ironically, my last phone shit the bed right before someone elses birthday.
I guess I've gone full circle.

A free phone upgrade will be cool though...maybe I need the adventure, Cabin Fever can be a bitch.

Maybe someone here can break them down...But I kinda lean towards that between the two.

I tried a one year challenge of using solar power, that turned into three years.
Not even joking.

I got my first smart phone that way. Now I am totally ensnared. I have even played android games and I even have a twitter account. There is a simplicity to being out of touch. But never again for me.

Probably just about nothing.
When the weather isn't extreme I basically pay more to get electricity than for what I use.

Still, it was a proof of concept kinda thing that I challenged myself to.
~At least until I went well past the one-year make, and then I was like, okay you can start plugging it in again.

I did kinda learn some stuff though with the experiment.

It probably is. I have been having the spotty connection at home for at least two months now.
Just text and phone, if I'm lucky.
At work, I use their Wifi.

So I told my friend about my connection problems (since he was trying to call me) and he suggested restarting the phone.

Lo and behold, it worked. How fucking dumb is that? "Have you tried turning it off and on again" is the oldest cliche in the book.

Oh well, at least that's solved for now.

I was seeing temps on those bank signs that were around 8 and 9 degrees.
Ironically going from my front door to my road my have been the hardest part...it was an absolute snow/ice sheet. I feel with my bike leaving the house, and coming back in. >_>

Ya, I wish I knew that was the free one..at offer.
But I am kinda liking this one.
My money is short..I probably should have picked up the free one, and then upgraded...but maybe not.

The only thing that does suck is, I did get a phone case, and I think I left it there...nbd...
But with the adventure the day was, I wish I had grabbed it.

It was life threateningly freezing though.
I got a shity picture of the old GE plant on my old phone...a good slice of pizza and a sub, I've yet to judge.
And I checked out a brewery to kill some time before I....Did not...miss the bus.

Okay, I got my free phone. The Moto G Pure. Had to pay 25 dollar activation fee, but I expected that.

I already miss my LG, I liked them a lot more than Motorola, but they dont even make phones anymore.

Edit: I had to go to 5 boost mobiles, btw, ended up driving 35 minutes to the only one that had the free phone in stock. if you have boost mobile, don't wait go get your free phone TODAY.

Well, at least the price was right...and can be just a 'for now' phone.
Though transferring the contacts and stuff can be a pain.
..Somehow though, my phone randomly spawned some old numbers.

Ya, it's a low-key case. Not like an Otter box or anything...though one of those could be good for hiking and outdoor stuff.

Anyway...as it turns out, I did have the case, the guy put it on for me in the store lol!
It took me like half the night to realize. That's how low-key it is.
Basically it's just to give the phone a fighting chance...just in case. ((No Pun) >_> ...of a fall.
The last phone I had for five years without any real incident.
I'm sure if I like it more or less than the old one, but it is quicker and has expandable storage, so that's nice, my last phone was full.

Cool, you got your phone though!! Sucks you had to go to so many stores.

Yea! I'm starting to like my new phone. I'm going to love being able to charge it normally, and it does have a ton of space so I downloaded Minecraft on it xD

edit: and the only spamware installed was a facebook installer, which I deleted and its gone (was only like 139kb in size, way smaller than actual facebook app)

Ya, the one I got is mostly better. But the colors and light are kinda bothering me a bit.
I'm sure I will get used to it though. And anyway, I really don't use my phone the way most people do.
It does seem good for games, I can actually play Sonic 2 reasonably.
Gotta look into getting an Uber app...not sure if I need a credit card for that though.

Any actual thing I do, I do on a PC.
