If I applied for $21/hr + tips, got there, and the manager said alright so the pay will be $12 plus tips... I would damn near not even let them finish the sentence. But immediately, I would ask, hang on a sec, I have this posting right here that says 21/hr + tips. Given that its 21/12, its pretty easy for them in that case to say it was just a typo. The more common type youll see is they advertise for one job, but when you show up to the interview they will say oh unfortunately that position has already been filled, but while youre here if youre interested we do have another opening and then try to interview you for a different, shittier job.
