um, from what I gathered, what Chappelle's act went over was used as segue into a larger conversation.

like how we did with awkwafina and cultural appropriation of black culture by the Asian community as a vehicle to success/fame?

oh wait, she (or the community in general) have never had to be really accountable and continue to recieve non black support?! SHOCKER

the content in the article doesn't seem to be comparable to what you're talking about.

the author talks about how pretty much every black advocacy group believes that the black man is the most maligned person in society, and wants to protect him, but despite what Chappelle said, where he treats LGBTQ+ people as as a separate entity, black LGBTQ+ people (and women) have been fighting the same battle.

I only read the first two paragraphs, but unless if the content changes as it goes on, I dunno if it's saying what you say it's saying.

where was this nuance when the african American community was being labled anti asian and the source of all violence committed against them during the pandemic?

Nuance?

The second people started unironically spouting ACAB, as just one example, nuance went out the window. A lot of people dont really have a problem with generalizations, as long as its directed at the other team.
