For real though this game is neat for being on N64

It WAS pretty neat, but I cannot imagine it aged well

didn't that game have a thing where you couldn't beat it if you accidentally killed one of the little cuddly alien dudes you found around the levels and it was always incredibly easy to just blast them?

You have to rescue all of them yeah. But if one dies you can just restart the stage. But stages aren't super long. Like 10 minutes most. It is kind of annoying having to back track through old locations in the second half of the campaign though.

Was definitely ahead of its time but I remember it being very difficult. I remember asking my brother to play as the flying robot in co op just for a second shooter to help out

Man this game was ambitious. Too bad it will never get a sequel or remaster or anything.

I played this game a few years ago and was loving it until I got to the very end and realized you HAD to collect all those teddy bear creatures throughout the game. It wasn't optional. So basically I would have had to play through the entire game again to get them. Such a dumb design decision. So I never actually beat it.

This was my experience when a buddy and I did a co-op run when it originally came out. We were blasting through, having a total blast. Got to that part, and never played campaign again.

Sounds like an N64 Rare game lol

It's a great game, but - yaknow - Since the only thing the little duders unlock is one part, which is only used to get to the final boss battle (which doesn't even have a level barely)... once you've beaten the game once you pretty much could just, like, NOT collect all the parts... just play the game and NOT finish it.

Can we talk about how our greatest failure as a species is that there arent more video game good boys like Lupus? What the fuck are we even doing here?

Its not in the stars at nintendo hq to make a remake right now TC. but who knows what their room full of bean counters will come up with in the future.
