some food is cheaper. i try to go there once a month.
safeway charges slightly more on groceries (cheaper on meat sometimes).

Yes. I would go to Safeway instead but it's super crowded there all of the time. Walmart is spread out enough that I don't feel like I'm bumping into people the entire time I'm shopping.

I prefer Target, but Im in Walmart a few times a month as their prices are cheaper than most other stores in my area, even IP Nintendo games are like 44.99 or 49.94 on release day.

I go to Walmant once a month. It's the only retail store in the area so I have to go every so often. But it is not a fun store to shop at, checking out is a nightmare. They only have one, maybe two lanes open for those who buy a substantial amount of stuff. And the checkers are the 2 slowest people in the store. They have like 8 express self checkout lanes but we always get too much to use those.

so? just use the self checkout lanes anyway. you can still prob check out faster

Would you want to be behind someone in the self checkout with a full cart and then some? That's exactly why I don't use it, the other customers would crucify me. At least in the regular lanes if someone with few items gets behind me it's their decision.

This literally has an insignificant effect on the queue, there are 8 lanes.

They got like 3 people working in the entire place. And two of them are guarding the doors to make sure people aren't stealing stuff.
