Dearest & it has been long since I wrote you, and I hope that this letter finds you well. I dont know what took me so long to write you. Maybe it was I didnt know what to say? Or it could be I was just afraid of what you would say? Whatever the reason I can finally write you now, and I have much to tell you. Looking back I remember our time together as the most wonderful time of my life.

The summers in the country, riding horses, picnics, river rafting, oh and those wonderful nights with you as we lay and watch the stars, those truly were the halcyon days of my life, and I still wish they had never ended. Sadly you being of the prestigious Ampersand family, and me a lesser Number your family didnt approve of us being together so I left as not to drive a wedge between you.

I know you probably hate me for leaving, but I felt it was wrong to make you throw so much away just for me. I hope each day that I made the right choice, but as they say we cant change the past, and so I get to the point of why I am writing.

I didnt know it at the time, but I was pregnant when I left you, and gave birth to the most wonderful child whom I have named 8. Oh you should see them! I have been told they look like me, but I can see so much of you in them as well. Now please understand this isnt about money. I just felt a parent should now about their child, and I hope that maybe you could be a part of their life someday, especially if anything were to happen to me.

Please know that I never stopped loving you, and understand if you hate me for leaving, but please dont hate our child for my actions.
