It's honestly bad for gamers to be honest and I see it getting way worse. Sony are have apparently acquired more studios and Microsoft have enough cash to buy whatever they want.
Why not use all the ca$h to Heaps of new awesome franchises or resurrect loved dead franchises instead of buying everything to keep it off the competition.

It's just shit. I'll probably just transition to PCs at this rate.

Exclusives were no longer a thing in the last generation mostly... in my opinion. But now it's becoming a thing again.

Compared to the studios remaining independent and successful, no. But the alternative is more likely they get bought by Tencent or Apple or Google or something, so compared to that, yes.

As someone that owns a PS5 and a gaming PC... sounds good to me lol.

And if being owned by a bigger company helps produce better games, then I'm all for that.

I just want bloodborne on PC. I don't even give a fuck about DeS anymore, already able to emulate it on RPCS3.

But I don't really care who buys what, so long as someone creates some half ass decent co-op games.. and doesn't tie it down to a specific console.
