i played it for the combat system which i thought was neat and stayed relevant all the way to the end. for the length of that game i think that's impressive.

The plot is pretty crappy tbh. The weird Id/Ego/Superego shit was kinda neat, but by no means contributes to a compelling story.

this post is pretty dumb considering how far beyond eva the themes story telling and world building go.
eva is all about its characters. the creator flat out thinks the plot is filler nonsense
