My first natural(as in, not Gyrados) shiny in any Pokmon game was a Golbat.

Of all the fucking Pokmon in the series it was a fucking Zubat evolution. God damnit.

I don't even remember what my first non Gyarados shiny was.

Yeah, and they were one at a time. None of that 3 on 1 bullshit where you're lucky to get a turn after tanking 6 attacks.

You know what sucks? Dropping from high up with Braviery and not redeploying him in time and killing yourself, thus losing exp candy, evo stones, and Grit rocks >_>

Makes sense. That's the only bug I encountered so not sure what else there is.

Yeah, the game is SURPRISINGLY solid in terms of being bug free. Beyond Cherrim, I haven't encountered much else.

The game also crashes now and then. It's only happened to me once and it was right after an autosave anyway, but there are lots of stories about crashes out there. Also visuals are kinda buggy sometimes. Like wisps literally fading in and out right in front of you. I gotta see if I took a video of that lol.

I did see a wisp fade for a brief moment though, but I think that was because draw distance tbh.

And when someone returns your satchel, do you get it all back, or just some?

Maybe. I'm at 47 hours with two crashes, neither of which came at any particularly inconvenient times.

I think the crashes are pretty rare. It's only a few people that have gotten them repeatedly.

You only lose a couple of items. idk if it's random or based on value or what, because I've lost max revives and seeds of mastery, but also pokeballs and berries in the same death >_> But if someone finds your satchel in another game, you get everything back.

I'm less than 10 away from a complete pokedex

Just need the fossil pokemons' base forms (I was too eager and naive and evolved them before I finished their entries), prinplup, magby (who evades me to this day) and some legendaries

One thing that started to bug me after a while are the dialogue options where your choices are literally two of the exact same thing and the respondent's dialogue could apply to both.

Like,

"Can you do this?"
>Absolutely!
or
>Count on me!
"I knew you could do it!"

I'm glad they give you dialogue options with the chance to actually back out before a battle to prepare, but the dialogue like the above is just unnecessary.

Minor gripe. Still loving the game. About 50 hours in and just about to beat the game I think.

Why is this game so great? GameFreak is not allowed to make games of this caliber!

Dang, how many pastures do you get at max? And what actually happens when they're maxed? Are all pokeballs just grayed out on the interface or something?

I so wish there was a sort option for Pokmon like there is for items.

Just found out there's a distribution event for Gamestop US for a Hisuian Growlithe w/ 20 Feather Balls later this month. Hopefully that's running in Canada as well.

Patch introduced a new bug where you get soft locked if you catch Cresselia before talking to Millie. There's no workaround you have to restart the whole game or wait for a fix.

Just be careful. Turn off autosave when you're about to do Cresselia and reset if the quest didn't complete after catching her.

I organized all my pastures by fucking species, and had six blank (empty boxes at the end) I put a snover in box 24 and left it there. Hoping it would start filling in from there and use the empty boxes.

Fucking NOPE.

Also I couldnt use poke balls in battle and the message your pastures are full continuously popped up in the middle of the screen before hand, to answer a couple qs.

Pretty salty now after all that time I spent organizing shit

Just checking, you know about the Y button to switch between selecting options, right?

But yeah, the boxes have always been so annoying to organize.

Yeah, I cleaned it up and then used mass select to move my empty boxes to the front instead of the end and it all works like I want now.

Still a step back from the way it worked previously, but whatever.

So what exactly does being "fixated" on moves like rollout, outrage, petal dance, etc. actually do?

Like I've used all of these moves at some point and still been able to use another move, item, or something else immediately afterwards.
