If it had that quality throughout it would have been an 8/10 movie instead of a 5/10. Ill admit Cole kind of sucks and was completely unnecessary addition whose power was literally plot armor but other than that it was a fun movie and truer to the spirit of MK than the first two. 90s MK movie is beloved as a video game movie classic and I like it too but it gets too many passes when it comes to deviating from the source material and being a pg13-esque movie with practically no blood and good fatalities.
