I'm pretty sure Childe National is still the highest DPS ceiling so he's still got it where it counts.

Raiden National's big advantage is that it works in nearly every scenario, whereas Childe National falls apart against Hydro enemies.

Is it better to choose c0 Yun Jin or c4 Xiangling? I want to built an abyss team around Childe and another around Ganyu/Ayaka/Mona

One thing about Raiden + national that I remember is that when she was new KQM was saying it was the only viable way to use her at C0, which I always thought was silly. That probably is the best DPS you can get out of a Raiden team but you can say that for lots of characters... and she's so versatile that there are obviously a LOT of options for her that are really powerful.

I know they're not saying it anymore but even at the time I was like "What...?"

Xiangling's C4 is a massive upgrade, and the characters you mentioned go with her much better than with Yun Jin, so you should go for that no contest.

Yunjin is very hard to utilize right now.
It's primarily Itto/Noelle and Yoimiya getting huge bonuses from it as far as I can tell.

Probably not enough information at the time. Hasnt stuff like that happened with a lot of characters where up to and during release people trash them as weirdly niche or ill-fitting for a lot of stuff, then a few weeks after the banner people actually test them out and they end up being extremely valued?

So this Abyss was basically identical to the last one.

Tell ya what, though - when Pyro Abyss Lecter goes to sleep, it has nightmares about Tartaglia.

Also Noelle does so much fucking damage on Floor 11 with the +Normal ATK% floor lol. I literally crit for 80k on a normal attack ffs.

If it makes you feel any better, Yun Jin is arguably the only character in the game where Skyward Spine is nearly tied for BiS.

This is essentially Diluc's gimmick. You can get pretty close to 100% vape uptime with Diluc & Xingqiu and Diluc hits way harder than Yanfei.

Lost prayer is Garbo for reaction comps. By the time Xingqiu's burst ends lost prayer won't even have full stacks. Thankfully it has good base stats but it's probably one of the worst 5* weapon abilities in the game.

She is going to be the most played character on my account.

And also a subdps. She doesn't battery as well as Fischl (and she needs a battery herself) but she's stronger damage-wise.

Childe had a dream. He dreamed of Pyro Xingqiu. It was a good dream full of vaporizes.

If Miko has off field Electro she can join my Childe's Taser Harem

Iirc Miko is a support/burst dps, though her base attack is one of the highest in the game after late beta test buffs.

Mine typically crits for 130k and hits for about 30k per attack.

But honestly, for as much damage as it does, the way it recharges other characters is the main selling point.

Yeah, but her actually dealing significant damage plays into her role in my Koko Taser team. Having C3 Raiden and C1 Kokomi would help so much

Although they don't play similarly, I kind of view Raiden as a Main DPS like Tartaglia in which they are mostly an enabler for other sub DPS characters, but at high investment are capable of doing so much damage on their own that they can basically fill two completely different roles at the same time.

Tartaglia's Ult scaling gets totally silly at Lv 13. Especially when you factor in how cheap the ranged one is.

IIRC the abyss F11 has +electro and +healing bonuses, F11-3 has pyro+electro lector in same chamber, the abyss phase boosts electrocharged and then next one electro.

Unless they can find a way to fundamentally change Electro, it's going to have the same problems. Reminds me of the "electro buff" that turned out being just an Anemo buff.

People talk about how much stronger Mono Geo is now, but the buffs were already there (it has almost without question the best resonance in the game). Gorou, Yun Jin and Stonethresher just made the primary Geo DPS characters stronger.

Electro is VERY easy to fix if Mihoyo just stops ignoring it.

I'm putting my faith in dendro, it will likely give a huge boost to electro that'll drag it out of the mud and make it very powerful even without taser set ups.

Even if that's not the case, all Mihoyo has to do is give amplification properties to electrocharged. Imagine a special stacking post-calculation electro damage debuff that goes 20% -> 40% -> 60%, that'd immediately put it on the level of reverse melt/vape and it wouldn't even need constant elemental application control.
It doesn't even have to be a change to reactions, you could make that an electro artifact set bonus, a big reason anemo and cryo are so powerful are the great sets.

Other things that can be done are cooldown manipulation electro resonance or a global resistance purge on superconduct

It's gonna be awful hard to prevent Tartaglia from being broken as shit if they buff Electro simply because Electro-charged's mechanics have no ICD with characters like Fischl. And Tartaglia can trigger Fischl, Beidou and Raiden's off field damage simultaneously.

My guess, like you said, is new elemental reactions with Dendro instead. Tartaglia is going to be a particularly hard character to balance going forward if they keep making off field elemental sub DPS characters.

And if Ayato is going to be a Hydro Claymore, you can bet they're going to promote Forward Vape.
