Prequel trilogy has some good moments and music, but it's bad as a whole, and invidualy. Sequel trilogy is trash(stopped after the 2nd one), and Rogue One sucked. Didn't bother with Solo. I don't know if I agree with TC about the franchise as a whole, because there's just too much stuff I didn't experience. There were some people laughing directly at it, there were people who weren't even interested because they hadn't moved on from the damage 8 had done and there were people who straight up walked away from the franchise. I saw nobody who wasn't either clickbaiting or paid sticking up for it. With PT you've got the clone wars fans/lore guys dead set on rehabilitating it, there's people who stick up for most of Disney's stuff every time they bring something they liked back into canon, people who get tricked into buying walking simulators love any cinematic game and forgive bad launches. Every other movie, game, book, or show I've enjoyed. TPM at least has a nostalgia buffer, because its big-budget spectacle CGI was still new and mind-blowing, and I was just old enough to appreciate the work and artistry that went into it while still being young enough to be wowed by it. It's dumb, it's all bad. only 2 lightsaber fights are good in the entire series (luke vs vader, in empire and return of the jedi) are actually any good. It's basic as fuck. Jedi good, sith bad, but WAIT! Jedi also bad. Okay Jedi not so bad after all. Literally makes me want to drink. Cool starship designs? Sure.
