Shoveling my huge driveway sucks, but I only have to do it a handful of times a year. Mowing is a guaranteed weekly event for half that year.

Got a pretty bad back and shoveling snow really ****ing hurts.

Very rarely you have to shovel know if you're south of Tennessee, but you have to mow the yard once every couple of weeks from April until October or the grass will get as high as an elephants eye and insects will eat you up.

Neither. We don't get snow here and growing up, we always had a gardener and I plan on doing the same thing when I get my own house.

Snow not too bad cuz only snow like 3 time a year i think.

As long as it isn't a major snowstorm, snow removal isn't too bad. I do have a long driveway, but it is a long incline that leads to a flat portion. So I just clear a portion before the top of the incline and then a bit of the plateau.

Mowing takes about an hour and a half, on a riding mower. So it isn't very labor intensive, but it is just annoying since my schedule is much busier during mowing months. Definitely a lawn vote from me.

One could get a mower with the blade thingy rig.

Why even mow at all unless you're afraid of Homeowners Association nazis? Grass looks much better long.

Snow. Its cold outside and it forms ice. I have no problem mowing the grass.

How I make my muny

I only have to shovel snow two or three times a winter. Cutting grass is a weekly thing for 8-9 months

Instead of putting in grass I put in a bunch of plants and rock. My property is tiny though. Luckily I live in a city in Utah that doesn't a city code requiring a lawn.

I don't particularly like mowing the lawn, but I fucking ***HATE*** shoveling snow. It's fucking backbreaking to the point I feel like I'm going to vomit, sometimes has to be done multiple times a week or even more than once in the same day, and goes on its own schedule instead of mine. Snow is proof there's no god, why can't I just take a fucking blowtorch and melt the whole goddamn driveway

Kind of hard to compare the two since we only get maybe one snowstorm a year and it is usually not that bad. I do remember back when I was a kid in the 90s and early 2000s we used to get several blizzards each year and shoveling was a huge pain in the ass. I generally don't mind mowing the lawn.

I guess I'm the only person who kind of enjoys shoveling snow. Great exercise and a great reason TO exercise (important for someone like me who lacks self-motivation).
A lot of people each year actually have heart attacks while doing it because of the combination of cold temps constricting blood vessels and just how hard of work it is

Must depend where you live then. Here in the AZ mountains we never get any of that, thankfully.

I don't drive. Never had to shovel snow or any of that stuff.
