It looked like a lot of fun, but I've heard a lot of rumblings from Savage players that its lack of good burst heal options severely limits it's potential in endgame.

It's definitely nice. Especially happy I swapped to Sage this expansion since they made the broil IV sound effect sound so damn annoying. D;

if you're not taking tons of unnecessary damage its fine. Just did a trial and there was nothing I couldn't recover from on my own, even with the other healer dead at level 84

Want to check it out, but I've never played a Healer and I figure my first one shouldn't be the one that starts at Lv70 lol

It looks cool

SGE+SCH is probably the best healer duo

AST is a strong contender for top 2 spot with WHM being lol

And once you use those its done. Also fails hard if a run starts going sideways

I think if you carved up Scholar and Sage and put them together you could have one solid healing job class. Both are a bit lacking in different, often weird ways.

well SCH IS supposed to be the ultimate barrier healer and people seem to think its in a good spot. Sage is like "barriers sometimes"

You simply do not run out of oGCDs if you're cycling through them correctly. I can agree that SGE is the worst job for fixing mistakes, but your statement about SGE being incapable of handling large pulls is completely false.

I felt Sage was weak in dungeons too when I was leveling it up. Then all the pieces clicked together and now I can smoothly run it in Expert roulettes. You really don't run out of oGCDs as long as the DPS is decent and the tank is wall-to-walling pulls. Only problem is "oh shit" situations, but Sage is good at preventing those in the first place.

I also love how I can lazy heal a DPS who eats stupid by weaving Kardia onto them and continuing to spam Dosis/Dyskresia .

What's SCH lacking?

Not so much lacking but conflicting.

Scholars level 60, 70 and 80 abilities have to be used mutually exclusively. Additionally fairy seems pretty pointless since shb changes. In this case I think sch but with kardia instead of fairy, and maybe that one extra aoe move would be pretty slick.
