Predators eat meat like (most) humans do. They're also more intelligent than prey. On both counts, they're closes to humans than the opposition. Also, wolf cubs are far cuter than ox or caribou youth.

How so? Basically all of the full on carnivore mammals are pretty stupid. The smartest land mammals are like elephants and apes and stuff

Elephants and apes aren't typically prey though. If you get a couple of lions together, they can bring down an isolated infant elephant. That's about it. When you compare animals with claws to animals with hooves, the predator is smarter.

One must fight to eat, the other must fight not to be eaten. People tend to sway in favor of wanting to see the prey get away from the big bad predators. I tend to empathize more with the hungry mouth.

There is nothing more cooler than watching how wolves collaborate to take down an elk or moose. And then if they have a pack challenge when a beta decides he wants to step up.

not really, they sound sympathetic and empathetic to me

Not a big fan of pure predators. All they do is kill and i think that is a big no-no and unethical.

I dont mind omnivores like brown bears and stuff tho
