After I finished graduate school in 2011, I struggled to find work. The economy was a wreck. I was lucky to be student loan free and had some capital available. After around a year of trying to find work, I seriously considered obtaining a CDL and going the owner-operator route. The economy did recover enough for me to put my degrees to work though so I did not go through with it. Do you plan on going owner operator or as a driver employed by the big carriers? --- You know how fads are. Today it's brains, tomorrow, pierced tongues. Like a dedicated route? Or just serving various routes but through one company? Yep I know it can be a mess. But I figured at the time as somebody in their late 20s and no kids or wife, it would have been a good time to stay long periods on the road. --- You know how fads are.
