They do seem slower than when I download on PS5, or even my Xbox One. I don't understand why. My internet has never changed in the past three years.

Yes because thats how Nintendo rolls.

They arent expected to keep up with their peers/competition in tech advancement/improvements so they tell their consumers to eat s*** and like it.

No, mine isn't that slow

Its pretty fast 5-10min tops. Make sure you are not using a game with internet connecting features or download will pause

No, I have crappy internet and D2 didnt take that long, maybe 8 hours.

I know your pain though, I downloaded a couple of ~80GB games like TLOUII on a speed that was ~500kbps and it took 3 entire days.

Its slower, but not THAT slow

On pc i download about 136 gigs an hour through steam. On switch it like 12 gb in an hour. It took my switch 1 whole hour to download harry potter lego collection. Idk why. Both devices through wifi btw.

Yeah, the Switch download speeds are abysmal. You get far slower speeds than you should. The last time I checked, my Switch was getting like 6-8% of my max download speeds.

For me, downloads are faster on my Switch almost ten-fold than my PS4.

I have several different public Dns addresses I use, that make a massive difference. Except when they don't. It's weird.

Usually I keep it on one that's from the major city that's next to me, and this works pretty well. Almost the same as the rest of my devices. Except when it doesn't. When it doesn't I usually switch it back to switches default, and that does better than when the other one is sucking, but longer than my other devices, a game diablo 3's switch size would be about 2 or 3 hours or so. Except when it doesn't.

Then I just randomly start putting in 'fast public dns's until I get a decent enough download speed from the test. Or Ill give up and try again later.
