When we go shopping together, male employees will usually ignore me and only talk to her. Some dudes will lock eye contact with me and try to walk straight into us while we are holding hands in an attempt to have us break contact. 1 dude brazenly went up to my gf while we were holding hands and asked her if she had a boyfriend. When she said I was her boyfriend, he got mad and started trash talking me

I almost always let my gf deal with these situations. Should I be doing more?

Whenever something like this happens, it kills the vibe that we have going on together. Like we could be having an amazing time together and then it disrupts everything and we spend like the next 1/2 hour talking about the person instead of having fun.

That's assault. Have them arrested.

This seems to be somewhat in your head, like a complex. Sure the guy who overtly asked was not, but if guys look you automatically assume it's a look of confrontation or disdain.

Honestly, I believe TC. Some guys really do, do weird shit when you're with a girl. Like once I was at the mall with this girl and while we were on the escalator, a guy behind us started singing Ne-Yo "pretty mama if you're single, single You don't gotta be alone tonight." It was super obvious he was trying to flex lol.

Oh and don't walk through a college campus with a girl. College guys are extra extra thirsty. You get so many "is that your boyfriend?" guys hoping they can shoot their shot.

Same, this not a far-fetched story. 5'2... yeah, I can see some guys trying to test you. Be firm and tell them to chill but I wouldn't try to start a fight or anything like that.

Yeah I can see assholes doing these kinds of things. Micro-aggressions are real and obnoxious.

My advice to TC:
If you notice something and she doesn't then try to ignore it, you'll quickly forget and be back to having a good time.
Also remember that they're the single ones, not you so you can laugh at them.

Im 54. Something like this only happened to me once way back when I was 18. A dude started hitting on my girlfriend hardcore in a mall parking lot. She told me to ignore it so I did.

gotta get thicker skin, man. It also has less to do with your height and more how you walk with your girlfriend and the confidence you present yourself with.

Ive been with my wife for 13 years in March. This hasnt happened to me with her.
