Playing it thru gamepass cloud gaming, it's nice not having to download a game and waste space.

Just started it, figured I would give it a chance. Funny how people expected the characters to look like the MCU versions when it was never said they'd look like MCU versions then bitched about it LOL.

What's so bad about this game exactly?

The end game loop that they tried for is whats so bad. Its a fun super hero beat em up while you play through the solo campaign and quest lines.

Still, the campaign isn't dreadful, it just...has some problems. I enjoyed more of it than I didn't. It had its moments. Some people do thoroughly enjoy it though and good for them. Hope you have a fun time with it too.

you're gonna have fun going through the same objective, maps and enemies ad infinitum as an excuse to keep the game going as a "live service" game.

iirc some of the same map layouts were even reused during the campaign.

This is where the complaints to me became typical gamers being upset at something simply to be upset. They had absolutely no idea what they wanted.

They wanted an Avengers game with realistic character designs that were comic accurate, and didnt at all remind them of their MCU counterparts. Which again, are comic book properties.

Some of the most moronic complaining Ive ever seen.

As for the game itself. Campaign is great. The multiplayer stuff was a huge letdown though.

The campaign is fine but honestly the parts of it that try to be some sort of Destiny clone just don't work. I'm not sure Destiny works to be honest. People acting like its the worst game ever are overdoing it. There is a lot of great game in there but they added a lot repetitive and pointless optional junk around it that makes the vocal completionists rage.

This is why spoiler warnings in the topic title should be discouraged. No one spoiled anything, yet this topic repels potential new players.
