The county has around 8000 people. We have one stoplight in the entire county. We have a single Dairy Queen and a Subway. There is no cell coverage at my parents house and the internet is 1.5 mbs via dsl. I get a laugh out of what city folks think is a small town. --- You know how fads are. My parents both said they don't know how they lived there for so long. Lots of people move to the country and fall in love with it. Then others do the opposite. One time I got lost when I first moved here and went down this narrow road through a wooded area. I didn't realize it was a private road leading up to this huge house with a gate blocking entry. I'm a 5 minute drive from basically anything I would want to access in terms of retail or food and I'm actually walking distance to a lot of stuff (10-20 minutes) like bars or the movie theater.
