There's zero recoil when NPCs use it, but it's AWFUL when you do.

Just played through the Zaeed Loyalty mission, I didn't get his loyalty I think because the other guy got away >.>

That last part was also pretty difficult, the lack of ammo is really driving up the difficulty

You can still get his loyalty even if the guy gets away, if you had adequate charisma, or whatever the stat was in that game.

Default male shep is the one true shep. I loved playing Vanguard in 2 and 3. Feels like being a biotic superman.

It's specifically a Paragon check IIRC and one of the tougher ones to pass in the game.

I did get a Paragon dialogue option, he said "I guess you're right. I can put him behind until we finish your mission."

Does that count?

I thought the same when I first played and now male shep voice makes me cringe

No.

You need to use the responses on the left with the blue or red.

ME2 gates your Charm/Intimidate scores behind your actual Paragon/Renegade points so if you are mixing the two you can lock yourself out of options.

Your class skill has a boost to your reputation points that is VERY helpful for some hard checks.

3 does it based on your points as well as a neutral third variable called "Reputation" that raises when you do shit regardless of morality, it's the best system.

Wow, ME2 feels considerably larger than ME1. Did the mission on the collector ship earlier, now doing all the personal missions for the characters. Miranda and Jack got in a fight and I sided with Jack, so now Miranda hates me even though I did her mission. :(

I can't believe Cerberus lets Miranda whore around in that outfit.

I have a theory about Jack. I think canonically she's supposed to be topless, because characters make a reference to that, and she only has the straps for game rating purposes. But in canon does straps don't exist.

The tattoos are such a huge turn-off though.

I love jack she is by far my favorite of the ME2 love stories.

I bought it too on the PS5. Mass Effect was one of the reasons I bought an Xbox 360. I haven't played it since I beat it way back in the day. STarting ME1 and hearing the menu music and the intro scene of Shephard walking through the Normandy made me feel such nostalgia.
