I liked it better than season 1. RT has it at 79% audience and 96% fresh, but there are a lot of fanboys of the books leaving 1 star reviews crying WHY ISNT THIS ECAVTLY LIKE THE BOOKS???

From someone thats never played the games or read the books I have no bias over S1 and enjoyed it. Only watched 1 episode from S2 and thought it was good. I heard its a little better than S1.

tbh this bothers me more as a fan of the games than the books. The novels could use some change imo.

Which is dumb because to be quite honest, the books aren't very good. The narrative structure is awful, and almost nothing gets resolved or explained by the end of the series.

If you can't handle it not being like the books verbatim, then you'll probably be furious like people on the reddit.

If you liked the first series, you'll probably love the second one like the vast, vast, vast majority of people.

Finished season 2 last night and enjoyed it a lot...my only complaint was the end of episode 3 was quite dumb imo

I love the games, like thee show even with the changes. won't say it's better, but still good. It's defintiely a good show on it's own, and imo one of the best fantasy book/game adaptations lately. It's better than the Wheel of Time TV series series so far. I know WoT is good, but I find myself forcing my way through each episode.

Episode 3 so far, boob quality has gone down, only showing boobs on extras, not main cast.

Its great imo but if you dont like season 1 then you will not like season 2.
On a sidenote its been really annoying browsing the internet lately and seeing people bitch about how awful it is that black people are allowed to be actors and how characters shouldve been exact copies of the hot porn stars they saw in the game. I dont religiously fantasize about the game and i havent read the books so its easy for me to enjoy it all but atleast the game fanboys being fanatic fanboys is harmless while the racism towards the actors and actresses is straight up worrying.

I liked season 2 wayyyy more. I didnt really give a shit about the politics of the show i just wanted the witcher to witcher.

Season 2 has way more witchering and i enjoyed it

eskel is both white in the books, games and show and was treated the absolute worst with him being more like lambert and not like himself. But keep pretending its just racist misogynists that are complaining about character changes.

the show has changed a lot in terms of the plot and so far I like them, because the books plot is dogshit for a lot of it. I do not like taking characters and completely changing who they are, and how they act though. Triss, eskel, vesemir are all victims of this in season 2.

You are allowed to complain about how they changed from the games and books thats fine by me i personally enjoyed it and thus wont agree with you but dont let that stop you.

The whole 'keep pretending like ____' is just a shitty way to approach anyone though ive never pretended like racists are the only ones complaining they are just the people who are straight up worrying rather than just irritating like game fanboys and i thought i made it abundantly clear in the first comment i made.

Unfortunate part of success is that the main characters don't have to get naked to sell it.

As someone who didn't read the books, I enjoyed season 2. Although, yes, they did Eskal dirty.
