I charged to 80% at work. I drove home, and it went down to 76%. I left sentry mode on overnight, and it went down to 70%.

It's frustrating how fast the battery drains. I charged it for 3 hours at work. I went from like 67% to 80%. Now I'm back to 70%.

Tesla recommends not charging it to 100%. My car's charge limit is set to 92%. To answer your question, it would probably take like 7 hours at a regular EV charger, and 45 minutes at a supercharger.

So it'll drop to 66% when you get back to work, then it will charge up again while you're there... What's the problem exactly? And this is still probably cheaper than gas, right?

sounds like your issue is just that your shift is short. If you worked a standard 8 itd be totally fine. Even if you worked 4 hr shifts youd be fine

as is, you break even which is fine still

I actually do work 6-8 hours, I just plugged in when I arrived, and moved it during lunch. I had to take an early lunch that day because of a meeting. Maybe I should hassle my HOA to allow me to install a charge port.

so any other day this wouldnt be an issue?

I dont have a charge port at home either. If either work or home had one Id get a Tesla.

I'll take it off your hands, TC. Had to sell my used crapbox to help pay off debt. :/
