I had the unfortunate luck of getting covid two days after Thanksgiving, I had a mild case but not being able to really taste or smell anything sucks. Hoping that comes back sooner rather than later.

I've not been vaccinated yet due to listening to an ER doc since I have a chronic infection due to two fucked up teeth. The ER doc said it wasn't a good idea but since I havent had an infection in awhile, I'm getting vaccinated.

I'm down to the last two days then I can finally go outside and get back to somewhat normal.

But do not fuck around and think covid is a joke. I don't wish this shit on anyone.

I jest, but I do say that as someone recovering from it. I'm fully vax'd as still dealing with it, and the best part is I didn't have to leave the house to get it.

Either way, you can still get it, but it's not as bad. I think my worst was last sunday where I got so dizzy/pissed off because I couldn't breathe properly for 2-3 hours. You ever get your nasal passage blocked so you can't breathe during sleep? it was like that but during normal upright activity.

I also never had a fever... but basically had all the rest.

So yeah, you should probably go ahead and get it out of the way unless you have highly reasonable doubt/concerns. The irony is it transferred to me, through someone else that's also vaccinated, by someone who apparently wasn't.

I'm waiting for the boost.

TGA here has given provisional approval for 5 -11 year olds. As soon as its available were getting our daughter vacced too

My wife's aunt and uncle had to miss Thanksgiving because they went to a gathering with their other side of the family where it turns out that one of the people there knew they had Covid and decided to show up anyways. And at least one of the people from that gathering got so sick that they ended up in the hospital.

I had COVID19 in December 2020 before I could vaccinated, first symptom: sore throat, dryness of mouth. No amount of water could clear the dry mouth. Next coughing, non stop.

Next stiffness of neck and extreme soreness. Now your throat is inflamed. Going to bed scared; will I suffocate in my sleep?

Thankfully that lasted a couple of nights and never reached a fever. I recovered but my cough persisted for two months. God knows what sort of permanent damage it has done on my lungs and my brain because of the lack of oxygen.

I wouldnt wish what happened to me on any Republican even though I hate them. Please get vaccinated.

Not to mention that flu season is already here. Having covid and the flu at the same time would be disastrous.

I'm already double vaxxed (about the reach the six month mark, so I'll be eligible for a booster soon) and got a flu shot earlier this year.

I already know it's gonna be a long recovery, doing basic stuff got me winded already. One day at a time, slow and steady.

5 months is my goal to be fully recovered, that is because in 5 months is opening day for Cedar Point. I'm not missing out on opening day to ride coasters, I won't let this shit keep me from my favorite place in the world.

Its down to 4/10 who have not had Covid at my work. I played a ton of Infection on Halo and plan to be the last man standing. Its down to 2 fully vaccinated, one boosted, and one no vaxxed. I am 1/2 fully vaxxed.

We had an outbreak in March 2021 and then two fully vaxxed have gotten it since then.

Been very lucky but lost a friend in September to Covid and another to a workplace accident due to strict social distancing measures. Hope 2022 doesnt suck

God Im so glad I know how to be happy alone as well as with other people.

And ffs, its not like you dont have access to your phone and the Internet if you get the coronavirus. You can still interact with people. Just not in person.
