Sometimes, but I prefer wild-caught. You can see and taste a difference.

it's really gross so no. the conditions fishes are grown in are worse than for most other livestock and that's a real fucking low bar

As I understand it, the flesh is grey with farm raised salmon and they have to dye it pink. Even so, wild caught salmon is more deeply pink. And again, the wild caught just tastes better IMO.

the rules are stricter than they used to be but for a while even norwegian farms used tons of unapproved toxic products in the pellets used to feed the salmon. Took an investigative documentary from a French network for them to do anything about it. The pellets are also made in good part out of sand eels fished in the Baltic sea, which happens to be full of pollutants. That's on top of the antibiotics and pesticides required to keep the salmon healthy because they have tens of thousands of them in tiny ass enclosures, a paradise for illness and parasites.

Wild Alaskan sockeye is my fav.

I don't like farm raised, tastes worse by quite a bit
