Kind of weak, but still a pretty good game. The updates added a lot more content to it, so you'll be able to reap all of that at once.

So the content is something like this:

Main story mode
Mini games
Boss rush mode
DLC challenge levels
Speed run mode

The first few are self explanatory. The main story mode isn't super long, but it's some Kirby fun. The Boss Rush mode has some pretty high difficulty modes, the hardest of which I had to cheese hard to beat.

The DLC challenge levels are 5 levels that are kind of puzzle based. The goal is to get collectibles that are locked behind power up based puzzles, and you are assigned a specific power up for each section. Fun stuff tbh.

Now the speed run mode allows you to play as all the different power ups/ characters in a set of levels that take maybe an hour to complete. For most of the generic enemies and the base game unique characters, these levels are all the same. But for the DLC unique characters (I think there are like 10), you get unique levels when you select them.

The game is built around the idea of relatively limited content replayed with several different power ups/ characters in a pick up and play style. It's decent if you can get it at a discount imo.
