Shippuden is bad. Just watch the first episode of Boruto. You'll find out how everything ended. Then don't watch anything after that because it's terrible.

Kind of, yeah, but it's a very heavily shortened version of events. You'll be missing a lot of small details and character interactions, but if you play through all the numbered entries you'll know the majority of the major plot details.
Edit: the anime is very worth watching. It's one of my top 5 easily. I would recommend using a filler guide, though. Naruto filler can be fucking brutal. --- I write Naruto Fanfiction. But I am definitely not a furry. ... Copied to Clipboard!
